Legal
Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your purchase and use of Nuqta.
Last updated: 3 September 2026
The seller
Seller: AIJO Labs — a sole trader based in Amman, Jordan.
Based in Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
All correspondence, including legal notices, is to be sent to [email protected].
Merchant of record
Your purchase is processed by Paddle.com, our authorised reseller and the merchant of record for this product. Paddle will appear on your bank statement.
Paddle is therefore your contracting party for the transaction, and handles applicable tax collection and invoicing.
The licence
The licence is permanent, granted for a single payment of 200 JOD excluding tax, with no recurring subscription.
The licence is bound to one device and verified by a device fingerprint. Each additional till in the same shop has its own key at 50 JOD.
You can move your licence to another device yourself from Settings; the first move is immediate, and after that there is a 30-day wait between moves. For an urgent failure, support moves it without the wait.
The licence may not be sold, rented or sub-licensed to a third party.
Updates
Updates are free for the first year after purchase. After that, an optional updates subscription costs 39 JOD per year. If you do not renew, the software keeps working on the version you have.
The trial
The trial runs 14 days with every feature, with no card, no email and no sign-up, and is tied to your device.
When it ends, only selling stops; reports, past invoices, data and export remain available. The trial is recorded with the issuer, so reinstalling continues it rather than restarting it.
System requirements and connectivity
Nuqta runs on Windows 10 or later, 64-bit, and does not require .NET.
The software connects to the internet for three purposes only: submitting your invoices to the Income and Sales Tax Department, verifying the licence at start-up, and checking for updates when you ask. After the last successful licence check, selling continues for up to 21 consecutive days offline.
National e-invoicing and your tax responsibility
The software builds the invoice document and submits it to the national e-invoicing platform under its published rules. Registration with the department, the validity of your credentials, the accuracy of the data you enter on an invoice, and your tax compliance in general remain your responsibility. Neither the software nor AIJO Labs provides tax or legal advice, and we do not guarantee that the department will accept an invoice it rejected for a reason concerning its data.
Acceptable use
Nuqta is to be used for lawful purposes only. It may not be used to issue fictitious invoices, conceal sales, evade tax, or for any purpose contrary to the regulations of the countries in which the software is purchased.
Limitation of liability
The software is provided as is. We accept no liability for loss arising from data entered incorrectly, from device, printer or scale settings outside the software, or from outages of the department's service or your internet provider. In all cases our liability does not exceed the amount you paid for the licence.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
This does not affect any mandatory right granted to you as a consumer by the law of your own country.
