Your shop data stays on your machine. This page lists what leaves it, without exception.

What stays on your machine
Items, invoices, customers, suppliers, accounts and reports all live in a database on your computer, and your backups on your disk.
No cloud sync, no account, no analytics, no tracking, no crash uploads.
What leaves your machine — exhaustively
To the Income and Sales Tax Department: the invoice document when an invoice is issued, including the buyer's name, tax number and phone if you entered them. This is a legal requirement of the national e-invoicing platform and not our choice.
To the licence server (which we host on Cloudflare): your device fingerprint and the software version, at every start-up, to verify your licence, renew its token and reconcile the trial period. The server also records your IP address and the time of last contact. No customer name, amount, item or invoice is sent with the fingerprint.
To the updates server: a read-only request, when you press the check-for-updates button.
What we keep about you
If you purchase through our authorised reseller or contact us for support, we keep the contact details you gave us in order to administer your licence. Together with the device fingerprint and IP address these are personal data, which we treat accordingly.
Legal basis
We process this data on the basis of performance of a contract — administering your licence and providing support — not consent. Submitting invoices to the department rests on a legal obligation.
Who processes data alongside us
Paddle — our merchant of record, processes purchase data and retains financial transaction records for its tax and accounting obligations.
Cloudflare — hosts our licence and updates servers.
The Income and Sales Tax Department — receives your invoices through the national e-invoicing platform under its own regulations.
Retention and deletion
We retain licence data for as long as the licence exists. The event log, including the IP address, is kept for 180 days and then deleted. Daily usage traces for the installation (the day, the number of contacts, the last IP) are kept for as long as the licence exists, as evidence of entitlement in a dispute.
You may request deletion of your licence at any time via [email protected]. Deleting it invalidates it irreversibly and stops selling in the software at the next contact with the server — within hours on a connected device. Your contact details and bound devices are deleted with it; daily usage traces and the event log remain for the retention periods above.
Financial transaction records are retained by Paddle for its tax obligations, and your invoices at the department are governed by its regulations; deleting our record affects neither.
